I think these 2 cars have some of the great N/A setups you can get right out the box.

The type S has to be better.. otherwise what would stop people from buying Si's since their MSRP is lower? (maybe not at the present time)

I don't believe that. The GSR has less power and can easily break into the 14's.

i was told by my friend that his 02 s with IHE and the hondata reflash broke 13's at raceway park 2 out of 3 runs (first run he put down a low 14), he's the one who now owns the STi and he's about the most honest person i know, so i would have to believe him.

i too was looking at those numbers and wondering

the Si is gonna make the type S obsolete. they're gonna have to do something with it to keep up. in a race i think they'd be pretty close, as stated. the si weighs more, but it has that lsd, newer suspension design, and the chassis is something like 300% more rigid than the previous civic. this is all info i got from the ride and drive, by the way, so i may have misquoted some of it just a bit. dollar for dollar, i'd probably try to track down a used type s, slap an lsd in it and call it a day.

i gotta give the rigidness of the chassis mad props.. i was seriously surprised when i only had a slight dent (which looks like its part of the car) and the tC had a nice big dent and a broken light.

69th post =)

Siscarface - The RSX's suggested hp is 201....

And how did you get 204 for the Si?

And you say you dynoed both cars?

there is no way a stock Si was rated at 204 on a dyno. it only has 197 at the crank, plus the RSX is direct drive, it has no lsd it should have more WHP
