Civic SI vs. Sentra SE-R?
i've been seeing a lot of Nissan Sentra SE-R with a big R logo. is that supposed to mean anything? like TYPE-R? or is it just for looks. because the sentra by itself isn't really a great car, the SE-R looks alright, but does it do anything? and if it does, how's it compare to SI's?

the SE-R has a diffrent motor and suspension then a reg sentra. my friend has one and its fast. the SE-R spec V has 6 gears insted of 5. i think the SE-R spec V is just a little faster then a si but a SE-R is a little slower then a si. but im not 100% sure though

YEA, THE SE-R I THINK HAS ABOUT 165-170HP , DATSUN/NISSAN HAD THE "R" SERIES PROBABLY BEFORE MOST OF OUR PARENTS WERE IN DAIPERS...
I THINK THE 04 SI HATCHBABY WAS ABOUT THE SAME.
THE NEW SI, HAS ABOUT WHAT? 185-190 NOW?

The new SI has 197 SAE HP.
The old Sentras were very unreliable and had especially poor brakes, I don't know about the new ones though.
The Civic is a great value and deal though, especially the new ones.
