And i loved my GS-R, but honestly, Car and Driver and other major magazines never ran better than 15.5's in it, and my friends RSX S just seems a lot quicker and suspension seems much better as well. Thats all i meant. Couple years from now if they dont release a USDM RSX [integra] Type R i may buy a Type S.

you're basing the performance off of one number...the 1/4 mile time. You are neglecting performance in other areas such as road courses, in which the GSR has a slight advantage over the rsxs.

and as for car and driver rating the gsr at a 15.5...who reads C&D

People talk all the time how the integra has the upper and lower wishbones, but Porsche and BMW run all strut front suspension I believe

I'm assuming you're talk k24a, which is the engine in the honda element, tsx (actually this is the k24a2, seeing as how its the 200 hp verson, but nonetheless I'm guessing the block is the same), and new accord (non-v6 version).

They're also AWD/RWD. That's the saving grace.

comparing the RSX-S to the ITR is all opinion based. you don't compare two cars based soley on what they run in the quarter mile.
WRONG. the rsx-s has 200 hp and 142trq. and the 94-00 gsr has 170Hp and 121Trq. AND the 96-00 integra type r has 195hp and 130trq. Looking at these numbers its easy to see who competes with who. And reading 1/4 times stock for stock produces the same results. Just because your friend ran a 14.9 with the back seats removed does not mean anything. If you would of thought about it a little more you might not of said that usless statistic.

Actually, you're wrong. The 94-00 Integra GS-R has 128 lbs-ft / torque.

Thats not the point anyway really cool guy . What i was trying to get across is the fact that gsr's don't compete with the rsx-s. Its obvious since your looking through every little detail that you are smart . thank you
