My 2 cents worth......get as much power from the factory as you can because insurance companies don't like modifications.....especially if you even mention the word TURBO or SUBERCHARGER. Say you had an accident that was your fault and an insurance adjuster had to visit to access the car and all he could see were chrome tubes under the hood.....they could leagly say to you: "Too bad pal, modified cars void your policy." A lot of Mustangs are charged or blown for drag strip only use, but there are some supercharged ones on the street. Some of those fall under a special insurance policy for classic cars or hot rods which needs to be driven ocasionaly, you must have a registered daily driver, and lock the car in a garage when not in use. Just some terms to think about.

Dude,
Firstly, those two are even int he same class, rsx are shit and are slow... compared to 350z.
I wasnt even serious about buying the 350, i test drove it for fun, and I ended up buying it a week later. The car is so fun, you will drive it for months before you will feel like doing any work on it.
Trust me, RSX doesnt even COMPARe...

the 350z is prolly a lot better preformance out of the box but you'd spend a lot lesss money for parts on the RSX once you start modifying them
do what you wanna do cause for 30k range i'd opt for the STi or the EVO RS
