Default Would you buy..

I'm planning on changing my 92 teg for a prelude. But, I can't afford spending big bucks.

What I've found to suit my budget is 97-98 ludes for aroud 15000-18000 $ with about 120k km and 95-96 ludes with less mileage (around 80k-100k km) for 12000-16000$.

Would you buy a younger lude but with around 120000 km..?

I need VTEC!!

(Yes, I'm from Canada)

if i had to choose between a 4th gen or 5th gen, i would go for the 4th gen as long as it was a vtec model, and in good condition. 5th gens come standard with h22, but i personally like the 4th gen body style much more. good luck!!

Well I'm going to assume all prices listed are CDN not USD.

Anyway, for a 95-96 Prelude VTEC with less than 100k on it... I'd say it's more around USD$7-8k. Maybe a mint condition one for $9-10k.

Anything 95-96 over $11k.... you better be getting a little :boink: with that sale.

i personally wouldn't mind a little higher mileage lude for a lot less... a lot of 80-100k km ludes for sale don't have the major timing belt + water pump job done yet, so you'd have to dish that chunk of money out soon anyway.

Go with newer body style. I've been looking at some 92-96 Preludes that are starting to rust away in similar places to the 88-91 Preludes. Try a 97 or newer if you're looking for longetivity.

Get a 5th Gen base 5-Spd
lightest of the 5th Gens 200hp
if u want the fastest lude then go for a 4th Gen VTEC model
it's more of preference
there are differences enough to make one think, but not really enough to set them far far apart, like LS and B18C5's
so just really depends on which car apeals more to u
