F22b Info??
Im thinking about swapping out my f22a for an f22b engine and i had a few questions that would be involved with the swap. I can get the f22b engine directly from Japan for $850 shipped to my door.
1. Do you think that this swap is worth it? I know everyone will say "just save up and get the h22a" but it would be a little more than i would want to spend. 2. Would my old tranny, ecu, etc. be interchangable or would i have to swap these out too? 3. Also how hard is it to find aftermarket parts for this engine? Or even replacement parts? 4. What are the specs of this engine? HP, Torque, DOHC or SOHC, etc? Any other help would be much appreciated. Thanx, -Gene |
the f22b is the jdm version to the usdm h23...the parts between these 2 motors are interchangeable..
this is a good motor however you may want to check with other vendors for prices call 1888-jdm-part they have good prices too i am actually getting 1 for my accord..with some crower stage 2 cams that bitch will be just as fast if not faster than an h22 |
Would this motor fit into a 92 prelude and where is the best webisite to find one of these?
