chaning front dash and console
so let me get this straight, you want to put a 5th gen dash on a 4th gen? It seems as all the reviews call the 5th gen dash "out dated" compared to the 4th gen dashes so im shocked a 4th gen'r would want to do that.....
probably because of the way that the 4th gen's dash looks. I heard it described as an old buick's dash :dunno: why though. But i guess you could interchange the dash but you would have to do a lot of work and it probably would fit kind of funny
he might be talking about the 94+ dash with EL. and the side mount ebrake, cup holder, armrest, all of which the 92 lacks. and all of which are possible to swap. but some of which require more work(welding or tapping) than others, krazyprican.

The fith gen's dash is similar to a late 1980's Accord I will admit. But that's actually what I like about it..... simple, straight forward, no nonsense, all business. Just give me simple controls and basic straight forward instraments so I can concentrate on the more imortant task at hand: driving!
On that note, BMW has always had the best dashboard designs.

i have a 93 prelude and love the dash especially at night, i dont know what you dislike about yours but compared to beemers i would choose a hondas dash, they are sexy, if i had a million doolars i would still by a honda and hook the shitz out of it. over a beemer blah! :bigok:

Mabe you didn't understand what I said..... I like my dashboard because it is simple and straight forward, and BMWs are the perfect example of that design. They may look different, but the functionality and intent are the same between a fifth gen Prelude and most BMWs (without the stupid fuel/trip computer option).
