yeah i was thinking about trading in the teg for one but the cheapest ive seen is like $10,000.

Yeah, 5th gens won't be cheap. Not only are they not made anymore, but 1997-2001 had an average of about 14,000 produced per year. So at most there's mabe 75,000 fifth gen Preludes total in the country (and I own one of them! :D )
