Anybody know how much it cost's for LSD install?
 

I've pretty much decided to get a 5th gen non SH. I want to install a quife LSD in it. How much does it cost to do a LSD install.
If anyone know's great, if anyone from the central cal or nor cal know's, even better.:D (I'll gladly take a answer from anywhere in the country to get a idea). I'd guess $500-$800 to install +price of LSD, but I want a better idea.

The book says about 8 hours to remove and replace the tranny so my dealer tells me. Doing the install of a Quaife means splitting the case and setting it up on the bench. That is even more time. I'll hazard that $800 is not unfair and $1k would be the very highest plus the price of the Quaife and other parts.

about what he said for labor^,and parts.then you also got to consider,how old your tranny is,and the condition of it.unless it's in very good condition,your gunna wan't to get it rebuilt while your installing ls.
