H22a swap into 95 SI, HELP!!

Hi, I'm looking for some help, my H23 is coming out (bent crank) and an H22a is going in.* How do I tell if the motor I buy is a JDM motor??* I've lost my touch with the Prelude stuff because I just got out of a long forced vacation (prison).* My car was sitting for 2 years, and before that, the timing belt broke on my parents, no it just has a huge leak at the main seal because the crank is bent.* I tried a new seal, it didn't help.* So, H22 it is.* Now, when I swap it in, I know I will have to buy an ECU and all, but, can I just buy a vtec jumper harness or do I have to replace the entire harness??* Please help all you 4th gener's.* This car is my pride and joy, and I hate to see it in my garage so helpless.* Thanks much.

Is the H22 I use as my avatar a JDM motor???

Look at the block code

H22A = JDM
H22A1 = USDM

I think I am just gunna go with the f22b for now. are you sure thats a direct bolt in?? i mean, with the wiring harness and ecu i have with the h23??

Like I said before I had the swap in my car....ran for 2 years..until I found out that mechanic did not replace the timing belt like I was promised, and it broke...so make sure you replace the timing belt before installation

so, i can just order the f22 timing belt and water pump through HONDA even though its a jdm motor?? thanks for all your help.

you can use the H23 timing belt and a water pump from a 96 honda odyssey

if you still go with the h22a you can run the vtec wires seperately. that is what i did.
