how to take the rotor off

how to take the rotor out

there should be 2 screws that hold the rotor to the hub. they are really tight so you will need an impact driver to unscrew them without stripping them. then just pry to rotor off.

the screws are the small ones right in front. you will see them when u take your wheel off. they go through the rotor and into the hub. ill try to get u a pic to make more sence. i have a 4th gen and thats how my rotors are, not sure if it is the same on other generations.

thanks for the info about the shocks, i think ill look into tokico.

did you take the caliper off? if not then those are the 2 big bolts in the back. they could be tight but you should be able to unscrew them with a normal wrench. when the caliper is off then use a impact driver to unscrew the two little screws from the rotor. hope this helps.
