Default frustration of aftermarket finds

hello all,

im a new member here. i came across this site through a serach on google. i just recently bought a pearl white 98 prelude type s and everything has been going great untill my genius fiance managed to hit the car from the front. i lost the headlight on the drivers side and my hood is damaged. i tried looking for parts in junkyards and ive been calling around but alas. when i tried to get estimates on how much itll cost, ive been told that they havent been able to find any aftermarket parts and that they have to go with the dealership parts which i know is bull. now i live in houston, and i would really appreciate it if any of u here know something about getting any aftermarket parts in houston( hood and a headlight), or if u know someone or someplace or a junkyard. anything would be helpful as im tight on my budget now and cant afford dealership parts. thanks in advance. please pm me or post here if u can help in any way.

thanks again

you can usually find parts like that in the classifieds section of forums like this and honda-tech.

There are no aftermarket headlights for us fifth genners. Sorry. OEM parts only. A new headlight from Honda lists for ~$330, but you can find websites that sell them for $250 all day long.
