Dude, I can't find a code 18 anywhere for any Honda. If it's driveable, get it up to Autozone or a parts store. They check it for free.

it was 2 codes

8 shorts and then 1 long

so i got an 8 and a 10
8 - TDC Position Sensor
10 - Idle Air Temp Sensor

i changed my distributor because the TDC sensor is in there and one sensor on the intake and both are now gone

haha thanks bro

yeah and i bought these stupid JDM spark plug wires on ebay.

they were fouling my plugs
some guy at Pepboys told me 2 much spark can be bad sometimes
i didnt believe him

but i just put the stock wire back on and it runs very very clean and does not foul the plugs

All 5th Gen. Preludes are DOHC VTEC

Stick with stock OEM parts. For future reference, all you need to do is change the spark plugs with stock NGKs every 85k or so (when you do the belts, water pump, and valve adjustment), and the engine will run smooth forever.

I'm not trying to be snide, but it is assumed here that anyone with a question about a Honda for outside the US/Canada makes that definite and certain in their question. And any other questions, which don't define which country they or their car originate, are automatically assumed to be for a US/Canada spec car. In this case, all 5th gen Preludes are DOHC VTEC.

If she had posted her car was from the Czech Republic or Iceland, that's a different story
