Default jdm/usdm ecu question

hey. i'm going to be swapping a jdm h22a into my lude soon and i just wanted to get a few things clear. first of all, i've read that the jdm h22a ecu has a speed limit set at 115 mph and the usdm ecu doesn't. i would like to go faster than 115 for special occasions so i'm thinking i would probably go for the usdm ecu. does the usdm h22a1 ecu have any down falls to it when used with a jdm motor? also, if anyone would know of a good place to buy one it would be appreciated. thanks

No you'll be fine with a USDM P13 OBD1, and I thought the speed limiter was 125 for the JDM P13, but I could be wrong.

i dont think the jdm ecu is an even MPH limit. its computed in KM/H so it is somewhere around 115-120.

You are right I checked around it is at about 115. In KM it's a little over 180.

My fuel cuts off at 120mph, feels like it hurts. Try a junkyard.
