new shoot v.alithisoneisforyou
so i just had a shoot with a actor/dancer/singer gus carr (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1727081/) no one really big, but he was in a movie with hayden so he is ok in my book. anywho this was done at my apt, im posting up some pics and some pics of my set up. ali asked me in one of my other threads so here you go home skillet 
there will be about 2 more pics that im going to post up. along with a quick setup pic as well, not really in detail the gf took them with her phone. next time ill take some detail pictures, my setup is simple and inexpensive. i dont consider my self anyone big, i just like taking pictures.
setup: single strobe/shoot through umbrella.
location. the stair way outside my apt.

setup: 2 strobe lights/bounce umbrella (shoulder high)/shoot through umberlla (waist high)

That's a solid exposure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I've never shot through the umbrella.
Bouncing the light off of the wall kills nose shadow and lights his face perfect!!!
That's not a modeling light, right? That strobe is firing?

thx you, i appreciate any feed back. since i dont have a softbox i use one of my umbrellas as a shoot through to give me that soft look. and not sure on the shot but it could be the model light or she caught it right as it was firing. but i always have the model light on and never use it as just a light, i always have the strobe fire.
