FS : '94 hybrid Accord coupe (lx) 5spd
'94 burgundy Accord LX coupe 5spd
135k on the body
80k on the motor
Alright..it is time to put my car back on the market. I'm going to just outline the mods, why i'm selling it, things that need to be corrected, minor damages, and what I will trade for.
Reasons for selling:
My wife needs a 4 door car badly. Hers just broke down twice. The second break down is beyond my ability to repair and frankly it's just not worth it. I have another project car so losing this one is not that big of a deal. I have 2 kids and my coupe just won't cut it for them. Also having a family I just don't have the budget to support two project cars and support a family at the same time. I also do not have the time. This car will be a BEAUTIFUL vehicle in the hands of the right owner. It just takes someone with time and a small-medium sized budget! I envy the future owner.
Engine:
'95 JDM h22a (near 80k on motor)
Engine modifications:
Generic short ram intake
DC Sports header
Gutted random technology cat (not gutted on purpose! haha)
Greddy SP exhaust - 2 1/4"
Type S pistons (cr was 240 through each chamber)
Top Speed FPR
Magnecor plug wires
NGK plugs
Custom wet nitrous kit - jetted for around 75
Brand new distributor (internals and all)
NO power steering. I have the pump just don't have the hardline.
Transmission:
'95 h23 (around 35k on tranny)
ACT 6 puck clutch and Extreme pressure plate
b&m short shift kit
Engine management:
Apex VAFC
p13
Suspension:
Tokico blues (been on car for 2 years)
Ground control coilover sleeves
AEM high performance brake pads
Sound:
Clarion head unit (needs to be replaced) w/ remote
Polk dB component system
Interior:
White faced gauges - not Indiglo. Used to be but I tore that crap out. It uses the stock gauge lights to light them. Looks good.
Spoon Sports shift knob
Momo leather shift boot
Autometer Quik-Lite (mounted on a-pillar)
Seats are still in mint condition! Carpet needs a little cleaning.
Maxspeed red "racing" pedals
Exterior:
Tinted windows - about 4 years old now. Not bubbling but a few scratches.
Accord EX rims. Everything else is bone STOCK
Exterior condition:
Paint is still good for a 9 year old car. It does need TLC. There are some door dings and a little oxidation on the front left fender. There is a dent on the back left fender underneath the fuel door. The hood also has a small dent right next to the 'H' emblem. Typical minor scuffs on the bumper and a few scratches here and there. Someone with body and detailing knowledge can make this car look GOOD.
Interior condition:
Seats are perfect as is the dash. Some of the lights on the dash don't come on (burnt out I imagine); most do. Temp control knob needs to be replaced. $2 or so from hparts.com. Carpet needs a little cleaning but other than that it's fine. Ceiling has a few tears here and there. Nothing major. Center console has the usual scratches.
'Mechanical' issues:
*3rd gear grinds if you try to shift into it hard from 2nd.
*Slight idle surge due to a vaccuum leak either on the FIV or where I put the butterfly plates back in and used gasket maker. Easy fix.
*Car needs to get on a dyno bad!
*Fuel pump may need replacing. Whoever gets the car I will sell a walbro fuel pump at cost.
*It's about that time for the timing belt to be replaced.
*Inside part of the exterior door handle (passenger side) has a piece broken off. Unfortunately that is the piece that you need in order to open the door from the inside and out. It's a cheap part that hparts.com and hondaautomotiveparts.com has in stock. I just don't have time to fix. Door still opens by pulling the bar forward. Just needs the one plastic piece to be replaced!
*Dome light does not come on - either a fuse or a short somewhere. Again no time to look!
*Reverse switch on the transmission needs to be replaced. $5 fix.
*You may want to get a new cat if you're looking to pass emissions (car WILL pass, too!).
*There may be a few more minor issues but I can't remember at the moment. NOTHING major. Car still runs like a dream!
*I have only sprayed 2 bottles worth of nitrous on this car. That comes out to about 20lbs of nitrous. No need to worry there!
*Rotors are warped and need to be replaced
For sale terms:
I am asking $6500 FIRM. I believe that the person that gets this car is getting a GOOD deal. I have invested countless hours and a LOT of money. Still have 98% of the receipts. 95% of the work performed by myself.
Trade terms:
1) Car must be a 4 door. I prefer a Honda, but will consider other imports. NO domestics, please!
2) Body must be in very good to excellent condition.
3) Mileage is not too much of an issue. If it has high mileage I will be asking for money on top of the car. That will be discussed after I have inspected the car or have viewed detailed photos. I actually prefer a higher mileaged car just so I can get that extra money.
4)Again the body MUST be in good condition!
5)Modified or unmodified it doesn't matter. If it has a gawdy body kit on it I will tell you to put the stock kit back on.
6)I WILL NOT DRIVE TO LOOK AT YOUR CAR. You will have to come to me. If you are in Dallas I might consider it.
7)I will accept trades from out of state. You MUST take detailed, and current, pictures of the car. You will have to drive the car to me for a trade unless you want to pay for shipping of each car (for example shipping to CT from TX is $680). Shipping prices do not come out of the sales price and do not affect cash on top.
8)Please understand what you are getting when you receive my car. It is not a show car. I built the car with one intention : to go fast. Unfortunately I only made it up to 300hp (w/ nitrous) before I ran out of time and money.
9) SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!
I have owned this car since 1998 when I bought it with 50,000 on the odometer. Car was originally purchased for $10,500 in cash. All paid off and title is clear.
Scroll through my gallery to see recent pics (please ignore personal pictures)
I need to have this car sold or traded pronto!
Any questions please post, email (pdr@twistedimports.net), or PM.
If anything else comes to mind I will post up.
Thanks for your time,
Patrick

Wow, that's a nice car and a really good deal. I'd def. spend the time working on it, however I am not really in the market for a car, I do have a 94 Accord LX Sedan, 5spd, with a few mods, but I know it's not a good enough trade. There is some body damage to the passenger side doors, but best of luck with selling your car.. it's a really good deal for someone! Hopefully it gets in the right hands!
hello i have 93 honda accord four door 91,000 good condition i will ttrade you plus cash if interested e-mail me at m_dawg1984@yahoo.com
Think of my children!

I added some new pictures in the For Sale gallery. Pics forsale1-12.
It shows the door panel out because of the above mentioned problem. $5-10 fix. I do have the passenger seat and door liner w/ the tweeter on it. Don't worry!
