GB: For HID kits

http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.asp?row_id=5911
There is a group buy for hid kits. Go check them out. McCullogh is good brand. I have a set on my integra. very.. very nice.. Many advantages over "philips" HID.

475?

huh

so wats a advantage over a philips kit

longer connectors to bulbs and balast. The balast also have thermal shut down protection. if the balast overheats it will shut down. so there will not be any damage to the balast. Does phillips hid kits have that? the philips kits connectors are short! Balast on the mcCulloch are smaller than the phillips balast..

Is that it?
I rather for 45 bux more??? ....
i rather go with 45 bux less with Philips 4300k or 6000k kit...
who cares if the bulbs blown..... it has a year warranty for replacement

what a joke

RsRintegra 06-20-2002 09:52 PM

your saying thats it? for 45 more little dollars you get a better HID kit, yeah.. the balast has a 1 year warranty. yeah the connectors are longer, are for tighter packed engine bays.. so you can mount the kit some where else. and the balast wont overheat on your little penny pinching ass.. yeah.. the balast is significatly smaller and looks wayy better for than that ugly phillips, the McCulloch hid balast makes the osram. philips, balast looks like old fashioned hid kits... yeah the McCulloch is only a 5000k but its really about 5900K. the bulbs are equavlent or even better than the phillips. The connectors and everything abou the kit is just very user friendly. Check it out for yourself.

McCulloch site mentioned all parts are waterresistant.
Is that mean I can spray the ballasts when I wash the engine bay ?

Also, they say beam pattern not change.
So its as good as doing OEM retrofit ?
not the slightest change in beam patter (no scatter a t all) ?

Thx

I've seen the McCulloch kits as i have worked w/ their general sales manager a few times. Their kits are amazing! Very well built kits.

RsRintegra 06-21-2002 09:32 PM

Sorry for being an ass. but i am not a seller of this kit. or anything. i just want to let you guys know that there is something out there better than the phillps. 45 dollars is not much to ask when you can get a water resistant balast and a few other things better than the phillips. In the long run i just see it as a smarter investment. SOrry.. didnt mean to call you penny pinching. Just 45 dollars is the price for some good quality "hyper whites". why not just add 45 and get the McCulloch?

cialz 06-22-2002 10:56 AM

will guys if u guys want this just go get it for 400 on h-t.com

my friend has these he said they are good
