Initial D the movie vs. F&F tokyo drift?
I am not huge fan of foreign films but I felt Initial D was slightly more believeable. Just because not every 16 to 20 yr. old has $30k car with $60k in mods on there car in Initial D. The acting is not great in either one but I think like Initial D the best.

Initial D's acting wasn't all that great but they did have big names (Edison) & Jay chou and the dood that played Jay's Dad....
F&F looked way too fake...too much CGI loses it's believability (is that even a word???)
Personally, F&F was just horrid...IMO

Ya it's a foreign film and I think it never played in to the eastern US theaters. I am sure you can find it just about any where(Google Video, youtube, amazon, and I rented off netflix. I sure you like it.

Sorry there aren't any hondas in the movie but there was on the anime show and Arcade game Initial D 1,2,3, and 4. I think it just because honda doesn't make a whole lot of rear wheel drives.

Never saw F&F
Initial D I haven't seen since I bought it. It was okay. I remember being dispointed in a lot of the aspects of it, but, dispite being disapointed I remember being mildly entertained in spots.

Tokyo Drift was tolerable. Only b/c it was technically advised by Toshi of JDM Insider/APEXi who does announcing for D1GP events in Japan and US. The scenes were not outrageous like the first 2 FNF movies.
Initial D was good entertainment. Only saw it once and it was entertaining. My friends who are hardcore Initial D fans didnt really think the same. Only b/c they follow the manga and cartoon.
