Any engineers taken Internal Combustion Engines?
As an elective, I signed up for Internal Combustion Engines next semester. I'm pretty excited about it, but I don't know what it will really be like. I know it will be different from school to school, but I'm just curious if anyone has taken it and what they thought of it. Did you guys analyze hp/torque curves? Did you talk about it's thermo cycle? Did you learn anything very interesting?

I did. A little bit about the mechanical components, a lot about thermo cycles, a lot about fuel chemistry, some flame front propagation/fluids. Not so much about HP/torque curves
