Edmund's 2003 Economy Sedan Comparison Test - guess who ranked #1
First Place - 2003 Honda Civic
Second Place - 2003 Hyundai Elantra Third Place - 2003 Mazda Protegé Fourth Place - 2003 Nissan Sentra Fifth Place - 2003 Toyota Corolla Sixth Place - 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Seventh Place - 2003 Suzuki Aerio Eighth Place - 2003 Saturn Ion 2 http://www.edmunds.com/reviews/compa...2/article.html |
Woah Elantra ranked 2nd :eh:
saturn last :chuckles: |
wow, way to go Honda and Hyundai! Focus and Neon nowhere to be found? Aren't they part of that category? I figured atleast one of them would be able to beat the Saturn Ion....
|
I'm shocked that the Civic placed first. C&D hated it. Maybe Honda stepped up quality or C&D just got a bad apple.

Originally posted by jaje edmunds is not as concerned with how sporty the car is and how fun it feels to drive as c&d is which i can understand why the new civic is not as highly praised |
Way to go Honda. Finally some company recognizes how good the current Civic is. Hopefully the 04 refresh will address some of the criticisms of the other magazines. Too bad for Saturn haha.

i think car and driver magazine is just a piece of shit

I find that very very suprising. After driving both a new corolla and sentra, I can't believe the corolla was that low, I consider it to be the best small car. The sentra? peice of crap, only the cavalier is worse.
|
I dunno. The current Civic is a decent car, but better than the Protege? Even after taking into account Mazda's historically lackluster craftsmanship, I still think it should have won. Or at least beat the Elantra.
