Default I hope you've already gotten your GT-R

"According to various web reports and the Nissan/Infiniti Car Owners Club (NICO), the owner of Motorex, Nanahoshi Hiroaki, has been jailed in Los Angeles County and bail has been set at $1 million. Motorex is the sole U.S. importer of the mechanical porn that is the Nissan Skyline GT-R. Between the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. report and information found on the Justice Files, the charges range from financial missteps to assault.

What this means for owners and future owners of R32 and R34 Skylines remains to be seen, but according to NICO, even the Motorex facility has been locked out because of failure to pay the rent.

I though Motorex went out of business a couple years ago.

Last i heard, they were doing some fraud with legalizing the skyline and got shutdown. Then i heard some guy that worked for Motorex left and formed his own company that imported skylines.

Motorex is just another monopoly that has bad management.

There are several smaller dealers that import and legalize them now...actually, cheaper than motorex. 3 in Florida that i've found actually. Problem isn't getting a dealership that has them, the problem is the laws are trying to stop importing and keep changing. Eventually, laws will prohibit all together.
