Solid picks all around. Really hard to argue with any of them. I'm not sure about the Vortec 4.2 I6...I find it to be a bit thrashy and overly trucklike, but I guess it's all about personal taste. Great picks by Ward's this year.

M3 engine is very unreliable, shouldnt be here

Hemi is an old engine, shouldnt be here neither

Nissan 3.5 is just a tuned version of the 3.5 they use in just about every car, very overrated as well

I'm rather sceptical about vortec 4.2, but I've never driven a car with it, so I wouldnt know.

Why honda 3.0 over 3.2 in the new TL?

No S2000 engine any more? I would have thought the upgraded 2.2L would have made it, since it is still a very advanced engine. I was also surprised the TL's 3.2L V6 wasn't chosen.

M3 engine was unreliable. it is rock solid now and deserves to be there.

The 3.2L TL engine probably wasn't chosen because.... I'll bet the categories are 3.0 and under and over 3.0L. I guess or it wasn't available in time to be considered

I really hate this list. It makes no sense at all what their criterias are.


BTW, that Toyota Prius that made it on the list actually has 2 motors.
