Default Anyone ever ride a Honda 919 or Suzuki SV650

Any of the HAN motorcyclists ever ride either a Honda 919 or Suzuki SV650? I'm looking into buying a naked standard, and would appreciate any insights.

Thanks!

I know a couple people (mr22na) here either had or have ridden a SV650. I have heard nothing but good things about them. Also, the people at gstwin.com really like that model.

Default yep, i had a SV650S

the sv is a lot of fun since you have power in the whole rpm range, also its realy light and nibble. my only complain was the low top end, i guess it was since you had usablepower throughout the tack, the top was around 130 for me, im like 160 lbs. if you planning on buying for a street bike, to comute i mean i'd go for it. its a great bike.

Yup i had one and LOVED it...to bad i HAD to sell it.

you cant really compare the SV to the honda 919

you could compare the honda 599 to the SV650
or the Honda 919 to the SV1000

either way i would go with the SV why...VTWIN POWER

I4 bikes do nothing for me...

next bike is going to be a Triumph Street Triple

I know. They're just the two naked bikes available new for 2008 that I've been looking at.
