Default Honda Motorcycle Riding Boots

I just received shipment of a pair of Honda motorcycle riding boots.

They're comfortable. I like that there's a zippered flap that secures with a velcro tab to cover the boot laces. The inner sole is made up of a foam that wicks moisture away from the foot and keeps the boot from getting stinky.

The best part is that they are on clearance for $39.95. The website says the regular price is $120.00.

whoa thats cheap.

i dont think i take riding gear very seriously, for better or for worse... im a jean and t shirt kinda rider... i do wear over the ankle steel toed boots/shoes. if its chilly out, i wear a light jacket.... but i dont really ride anyplace "fast" my top speed is like 45mph so i stay out of faster zones. mostly within city limits.

is that a good excuse? :dunno:

I feel that it's a the individual rider's perrogative as to how much gear to wear.

Being a newb rider, I ride with full gear. Helmet, jacket w/armor, riding gloves, jeans, and over the ankle boots. I want to avoid injuries like this:

(Full story of this rider's crash can be found here: http://www.hondashadow.net/forum/vie...=48914&start=0 )

I guess it just depends on how much you value your skin.
