bike looks to be in amazing condition, and with very low miles.
a friend of mine had an 87/88 hurricane which is very similar to that one and the bike was great, and wasnt in near the shape this is in.
that era of honda's revolutionized sport bike racing back in the day, and this one looks like its just off the showroom floor.
id never buy a bike that i cant personally go look at or get someone with a better nowledge of the engines than me to inspect....but thats your decision.
bike looks solid and a great machine to start on/build on your skills with.

that's a really nic example of an F2, but it's too expensive unless you have some attachment to that model. You can get a newer, faster bike for less and you still won't pay as much for insurance as with that bike. Even though it's over 10 y/o, it's still in a higher insurance bracket than say an SV or a newer Fz-6 or YZF600R.
You should be able to find a good-decent F3 for that price, if not an F4/i

I used to have a 93 f2. The 93 is an f2, not f3. It was a good bike back in the day. I would spend just a tad more or even the same if you can find a good deal, and get a newer model, but that's just me. Those are looking a llittle outdated, in my opinion. Over 3 grand for a 91 is a little steep.

I started with a 86 Honda Nitehawk 700, moved up to a 91 CBR1000 and now have a 93 CBR900rr.
The best bike of the bunch was the CBR1000. It did everything well and was comfortable to ride for hours on end.

Its a nice bike but your probably better of getting something new for the $$ spent. Newer, as in 2000+, something with better braking and perhaps even lighter. If you really want to save, get an old CB400 or 550 to boot around on THEN upgrade next season
