Default Tires for 1998 CRV

The 1998 CRV that I own came with 205/70/R15 tires. They are getting worn out and need to be replaced. I am selling a 94 Camry which has real good tires but they are 205/65/R15. So, the Camry tires are about an inch less in height than the CRV's. I think that the Camry tires will mount on the CRV wheels but wanted to know if anyone believes this is not a good idea? I realize the speedometer will be a bit off but will the CRV still handle correctly? Any advice will be appreciated. larry

Go to TireRack.com and make sure that the Camry tires have enough strength (Load rating) for the V. They have comparison charts there.

Look at the sidewall of the two sets of tires, you will see a MAX LOAD rating. They should be close! :awais:
