Default Acura SLX - My motor is fried! Any options in SF Bay Area for motor swap?

Just got diagnosed at the dealership.

They said my push rod was shot and there are metal shavings in the oil pan. Engine sounds like loud like an airplane.

Any recommendations on a shop near San Francisco that sells:
-Remanufactured engines and install?
-Engines imported from Japan and install?

I'd like to keep this factory so no motor upgrade.

Thanks

Your best bet is probably a junkyard, honestly. Unfortunately the Acura SLX carries Isuzu reliability, not Honda

They are trying to bs you friend because 96-97 came in SOHC and 98-99 came in DOHC. No push rod either year.

Anyways 3.5l are well know to burn oil so your friend probably left it running dry.
