Default Passport Brake Light Bulb replacement

Do any of you Passport owners know how the heck to access the brake light panel to simply change the bulb? I swear - I can't figure it out.

there are two philips screws on the outside of the tail light and one in between the bumper and the bottom the the light, remove those and pull out on the light. mine pulled pretty hard but it eventually came out.
