waukesha/wilde honda meet
 

there is a show in waukesha at wilde honda on July 28th, a Sunday. (almost positive.) This is about 30 mins from Milwaukee, 2hrs from Chi Town.

Since the last meet was such a flop i thought it would be cool to get some of you all to meet there on that day. if theres some interest, post it here. Ill be there regardless.

ill try to be there, i have been looking forward to this one ever since i found out that i couldn't goto the chi town HIN...

I plan to be there if I can get an engine and put it in by then.

I'm gonna pull it this weekend but I spent the engine money buying a slightly rusty 88 dx last weekend now I'm broke till next week are you guys going to that thing in joliet. www.gt66.com it looks like its going to be big.

well its tomarrow, and i think judging for the sound competition starts at 10, and the show runs all day im thinking... anyways there is a projected 450+ cars showing/in the spl event... umm its an official spl drag event too... last year i think they had about 300 cars... i dunno i heard these things but im going!!

the show was good, I took a few pics and i'll put them up when i get them developed and scanned (poor me has no digi cam...), but best of show was a MR2 with metal flake paint and a nice turbo setup with intercooler... it was aight but I dont think it was the best of show... it wasn't really a rice fest, most of the cars were indeed pretty nice but there was the difinate rice factor...

My favorite cars that I saw were the SR20DET 240SX, the yellow Supra, and the Integra with the black wheels and the Japanese front end. There were a few nice cars, but as mentioned, a few nasty ones too.

ryan arndts car is pretty hot. im in love with the purple EJ6 from wilde motorsports...they know what theyre doing.

nice to see some 91's done up with that DOHC heaven.

yeah, that 240sx was tight, my buddies were right on the side of it... that grand am with the kit and that civic dx with engine work...

I was quite surprised by that Grand Am acutally. At first, I didn't know what it was. I thought it was a Grand Prix, but it was too small. Not bad looking for a Pontiac. And hey – I've never seen one like that before.

i didnt recognize what it was, so i guess thats a plus.

always have a soft spot for a cooper though, and the del slo with the s2k lights was done damn well.
