Who's in CT?

I moved to CT last year and don't really know many people. Who here is from CT? Specifically, who in CT has experience with transmissions from a 95 Civic? I have to replace mine and I'm mechanically inclined, but not for trannies. Is there anyone willing to help? Thanks!

im from ct, new haven area. if your mechanically inclined... peep the helms manual, takin the transmission out isnt hard whatsoever. if you're talkin about internals, thats a diff story.

talking about both. I have the helms....just looks like a mess of circles when it gets to the internals. How long does it take to take out the tranny?

the tranny is simple, i had a d15b7 engine. took no more than 1 hr to take it out, this being my first time. pretty much disconnect the bolts connecting the tranyn to teh engine, the sensors, the 2 mounts and it slides out. Internals however, i did not bother messing with. I did however attempt to open my friends transmission out of a 4g63 engine. its not complicated but there are alot of little rods, springs, synchros, just to open teh casing.
