NEED 89 Acura Legend 5 speed transmission!!
hi everyone,
I am looking for an 89 acura legend 5 speed transmission! My car just starting making this gargling sound, I took it to 3 people, and they all said it sounds like a "tooth" broke off and my transmission will eventually die. If i knew how to prevent this, i would have done everything i could! It looks like my only real option, if i want to keep the car, WHICH I FREAKIN LOVE THIS CAR, is to get a used transmission. I'm driving the car now, it drives beautifully, but this shouldn't last for too much longer. Is anyone selling a trans for this make??? Are there any junkyards out there?? Has anyone gone through this before? I appreciate anyone's input. Oh, I'm also located in Jersey Shore area! Thanks!!

you will get a lot better response over at www.acura-legend.com, people are always parting out cars there or very helpful with problems.
i would check your local junkyards if you are looking to spend a little, since you will save on the expensive shipping costs.
have you looked into how much it would be to rebuild the current one?
