Default Adding vtec to 1996 ls

I just got a 1996 Integra LS and I want to add Vtec to it, but I'm not sure to go with the B16A head, or the B18C head. Also I was wondering how much it would run, and who the hell sells the parts necessary? Thanx

More like every other day, I swear I see a noob LS/VTEC thread almost daily. I'm sure 'noop does too.

In short:

The B18C (P73) head has smaller combustion chambers then a B16A (PR3). Take your pick, if you want higher compression get the P73.

It is very expensive.

The parts nessicary to make it run with a B18B redline can be bought anywhere that sells oil lines and fittings. To run a B16A or B18C redline, you need a lot more parts from a lot more companies.

Click this magic button and all your questions will be answered:

for all the money spent you might as well turbo that bitch and get it properly tuned...it'll probably have a similar level of reliability and you'll end up having quite a bit more power.

Well I apologize for posting a thread that is seen all too often. I like the sound of the turbo idea, but i want revs higher than 7 grand, do i start working on internals and then figure out which turbo system i want?
