Default CE light

I recently been having a whole lot of problems with my car hesitating and has been going on for a while but not as bad. Then the other day I was driving and the check engine light came on and when I shut it off and turned it back on the light went off. The next day I checked the code that was saved on the ECU and it was code 1, which is the heated 02 sensor. I checked all the connections that the helm's said to check with this type of intermediate problem but everything turned out o.k. I still have the same hesitation as always but no CE light anymore. So my question is should I go ahead and replace this even though the light is no longer coming on? Do you think that this would solve my hesitation problems also?

i bet the light was caused by the hesitation. too much fuel in the exhaust will cause the primary o2 sensor to trip.

do a tuneup, then see how it runs.

I just replace the ignition module, coil, cap, and rotor. The only thing that I didn't replace is the wires and plugs but I don't see any leaking when checking them out at night.
Another thing I have noticed is that I get a poof of air out of the intake when shutting it off sometimes. I don't know if this has anything to do with this or not but worth mentioning.

If it sounds like someone exhaling or your intake just letting out air out of the filter. That is normal. My car does it as well when i shut the car off.

Thanks Chrgsr96 I didn't think that it was anything to worry about but thought it might have something to do with what was going on with the hesitation and might help with getting this resolved.
