Default Engine Temperature/Coolant temp.

Hey Guys, i have a question..

My engine/coolant temp. guage on my GSR never goes up to the halfway point like any of my other cars. It always stays a wee bit below halfway...unless i turn the A/C on, or really start rompin on it, it wont hit the halfway point. Is this ok? normal?

Thanks!

Jimmy

That's normal. My radiator has a slight leak and it doesn't even reach the halfway mark.

I'm going to be mega super anal and make a comment about this. Your car does have an "ideal" operating temperature, which is why it isn't good to use "racing" thermostats on a daily driver. They open at too low of a temp (160 degrees) and can prevent your engine from warming up properly.

Probably not, but Integra radiators are notorious for leaking. It'll happen eventually. Just watch for sweet smelling green puddles.
