Default secondary intake runners on b18c1 (turbo application) confused?

Ok guys I'm trying to figure out what the advatage of disableing the secondary intake runners is when equipping a b18c1 with a turbo? Or is there any, I'm confused can anyone help me out? I've been told a few different things hopefully someone here can clear things up for me.

You can disable them & try it. If it doesn't help, hook it back up.

With a turbo, your charge temperature is higher. That increases the speed of sound, so for a given rpm you want a longer runner. But I didn't think it was so much that you'd want to disable the short runners.

neither did I but someone told me it I would be losing HP running both intake runners, and I heard from someone else that it would just add power. I'm still confused has anyone else heard this?

It'll help you spool faster to use the smaller runners. Disabling them may give you a hair of midrange power but I don't think it would be worth it.

how so, I don't understand how it would give me a faster spool? would it help me spool alot faster? sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to understand why ppl recommended this to me. Thanks for your input for far it has been very helpful.
