Default Problem diagnosis... help!

After a 2 hr or so drive today... I parked my teg and noticed a weird sound coming from under the hood. Went to investigate and a boiling sound was coming from the left side where the coolant reservoir is. Checked the reservoir and it still had coolant. Checked the radiator later and it was kinda empty. Over the left side of the engine, there was coolant spilled over it.

The car did not overheat at all, and it still does not. I just started the car again after 2 hrs and it seems to be fine. I cranked the heat all the way up and no hot air comes out. I'm very worried about whats going on, someone please? Thanks...

I'd say, let it cool down, and check all your fluid levels. Look for cross contamination. Top up anything that's low. Other than that, just keep an eye on it.

radiator overflow thing? You mean the resevoir. Those only overflow when the radiator is overfilled and it needs somewhere to runoff. You might want to compression check and see if your radiator is holding pressure. If it isnt you may have either a leak on one of the lines or on the actual radiator itself. It wouldnt be impossible for the radiator to leak at the very top. When the car is cold the radiator wont fill all the way up (resulting in no spilling), but when its hot it should fill the radiator to the top, causing it to leak only then. Dont think zebras when you hear hooves. I'd go to a mechanic and have him do a quick compression check. Takes no more than a minute or two. I'm sure any decent mechanic would check it for free.

Hi, thanks everyone for the replies. The heat is now working, dont know it wasnt in the first place. The radiator eventually ran into empty as i was driving home from where I had gone and the car overheated like nothing. So i had to fill it with water and got home eventually. Unfortunately's the weekend so i'm going to have to wait till Monday...

Just came back from the shop... guy went and squeezed the top hoses off the radiator and quickly said that the radiator was gone... there was some water leaking on the bottom. Question is... are the other hoses on the bottom that could burst? Before I head over and buy a $150 part I wanna make sure its the right thing thats wrong w/ it.
