Header Suggestions!

im looking for some headers for my 01 GSR. any suggestions? i was thinking of DC or Comptech, i want 4-1 and how much do they run for?

Comptech is good...talk to Shingo he has a full Comptech setup...not sure if it is 4-1 or 4-2-1 that he has though.

you get 2 dif types of 4-2-1 headers from comptech.. TIG weld and MIG weld. One is more expensive than the other, only because of he process they use to weld the header. Go with the less expensive.. difference is minimal. I love the setup I have.. header/exhaust from comptech. It sounds really mean.. :D

If you want an exhaust that works well and looks incredible, get the comptech tig. I had it, but i returned it for money issues(jdm convo.) It was a work of art.

so nobody cares for dc anymore?

jdm header, then get new cat and cat back to go with.

i guess DC is okay. I haven't heard anything bad about them.. I personally like having comptech only because of the SpeedTV races with the Real-time team. So i know their stuff works. :D

Does Comptech make a header application for my 2000 LS? If so, does anyone here have one or know someone who does?

qtiger 06-16-2003 08:59 AM

DC's 2.25" headers are, from what I've seen, mostly crap. However, their 2.5" header is a strong competitor with manifolds three times its price.
