Default is it possible to by a brand new engine for 96 integra from dealer?

i plan on keeping my car for a lifetime and work on it as a hobby and not drive it around much, but is it possible for me 5-10 yrs later down the line to purchase a brand new factory engine for my car or no?

I would't buy it from the dealer. Man that would cost alot. You could buy a good B18C5 for about $5500.00. The dealer would want about $10000.00. Try looking at www.inlinefour.com or www.mmrusa.com

Black has a good point but the easiest way to find this out is to call the dealer becuase I don't think that any one here has ever bought or even priced this part from the dealer.

yes you can
and its not as bad as you guys think
on acuraautomotive parts a ITR block is 1888, head is 1800 then you buy the misc parts
best thing to do is call them though

Yeah... but for the price of a new ITR block (Well, $100 more...) you could get an aluminum Dart block w/ 85mm sleeving that can handle up to 40 psi (Holy shit!) worth of boost.

Anyways, yeah, you can buy a whole new engine from a dealer, but I don't think they'll make it cheap for you.

Unless there was a MAJOR problem, I'd rather spend the money and rebuild than replace...
