Don't get 8000k they are too dark, you lose a lot of visible light output.

Default HID 411...

Philips and Hella are the best.
Ballasts wise as well.

For bulbs make sure it's Philips or Osram.

Do not but those cheap overseas Chinese, korean ones.
Heard they won't last long .
Price comes with matching quality.
SOme i heard are half defective.
Beware.

Kelvin... 4100K, 4300K, 5000K, 6000K, 8000K, 9000K, 11000K
Small K = closer to white
Larger K = more color
True that the size means brighter, but it also has increased color that blocks the true brightness.
Heard Hella brand HID kits 6000K and above output a
pink/purple HID color.
In my stance, 4300K philips are the best to
OEM cars equipped w/ HID. However no slight color hue.
6000K are prob best for slight color hint (blue edge glow)
with a white/blue output.
Larger K HID kits just are too ricey...
looks like hybrid hyper halegon bulbs.
Catz brand HID seem yellowish and not really bright when compared to Philips.

Shop around b4 u buy.
K2, B..., anything that has cheap looking ballasts beware.

Hope this helps.
I'm a fan of Philips all the way.

(read: KEIDA = overseas cheap crap)

Don't get anything over 6000K. Your car will look like it belongs in a disco, not on the road.

I think most of the people who say dont get HID are just spreading around BS they heard over the internet.

My buddy has 7000K Misterjungs in his Celica and they are very bright and purplish-white. Great kit. BTW I moved this to Integra so you can get some more answers...a lot of Integra guys run these kits.

Default HID 411, part 2

h:
Stick with Philips, Hella, or OEM set-up's...

I have no idea on that "KEIDA" stuff.
Looks kinda cheap.
Ur dice roll, bro.
But with the eBay price climbing to over $360..
I rather spend a bit more and get a better made product, Philips.

True on those 8000, 9000K, 11000K regarding funkiness:
Brighter but more COLOR.
If you want ur purple looking like a flourescent PINK on the road?
My take on those output =
Looks like more expensive hyper purple halogen bulbs.

4300K is the best/closest to stock HID
(i.e. BMW, Audio)
Ballasts for the Philips and Hella are well constructed.
Those other Korean Taiwan ones, like K2, Hanabe, etc are very
plastic'y. Don't drop them or u'll be sorry.
Many of those Korean kits are "Use at your own risk".
I don't know anyone here who has used Misterjungs's HID
conversion kits for their integras.
Anyone who has pics to show off please share. THX.

But I had these 9006 Philips 4300K HID kit in my
Integra (if u want to see output):

P.S.
Don't get haggled by "Po Po" for your kool pinky "purple HIDs.
Don't give them a reason to get ya for the color esp when u forked out over $300 to impress...:naughty:

I dissagree. I have the K2 Kit and the ballasts are in metal housing. I have had the kit on my teg for almost a year and I love it. No problems whatsoever. I recommend it.
