OK, here's a STUPID question:

I'm embarassed for asking this, but...
I know where my 4 jack points are, however, I can't jack up my car with a floor jack on one point and use the same point for a jack-stand. In other words, I can't put the jackstand under the jackpoint because the jack is already there, taking up the room. I'm kind of hesitant to try to jack the whole front/ rear of the car with someplace in the middle due to stability issues (cars arent supposed to balance on 3 things, even just for a few moments!)
What method do you guys use? Are there additional jack-points I may not know about?

/me hides his face in shame :nervous:

if you look under the front bumper, you will see a center cover that is lower than the rest. there is a point under there. in the rear, you use the tow-hook.

The front and rear jack points are very stable. Use them and then put jack stands under the two wheels that are up for added protection

OK, I'll give that a shot. what about doing just a driver's or just a passenger's side at a time (with two jackstands)?

Thanks! - now answer my question about the shocks and springs!!!!

when I rotate my tires, each side front to back, I put a floor jack under the side jacking points, not using jack stands. The side points are pretty easy to see, looks like a good spot to put the notch in the OEM jack, sort of sticks down. What question about shocks and springs

is the front center jack point right under the radiator?

you're asking for a car to fall on top of you. :nono: (unless you didn't get under the car)

Beatbom,

Your buddy with the 911 sure has a lot of beer! Heinie and Corona and a 911....

all you need is a supermodel to complete the picture. (And at that point, you could get rid of the beer and car...):naughty:
