Default ** Got my TEG back **

Well I just picked up my teg from acura. They replaced the whole tranny ( NO charge! ) Not to mention they washed and detailed the inside for me. Im very impressed with them.

Things I noticed with NEW tranny :

First off I bought it used.. with 26,000 miles on it. So this is my first 0 miles tranny. Its much tighter and gos into gear smooth.. thats the only real way I can explain it. Also my new tranny has a little diffrent gear ratio. For example :

Before my redline in 3rd was 83mph, now its more like 90mph. So Im thinking they threw in a 01' tranny to replace my 00' one. I was curious about this cause my buddy Colby or ( ur31337 ) had a longer gear ratio in his 01'.

Long story short.. Everything went smooth.. and Im happy with the outcome

My 94 also redlines in 3rd around 90. There were no gear changes among any years of Integra GS-R 94-01 to my knowledge.

Also it doesn't matter what tire size you have, the guages will still indicate redline at the same speed in each gear.

yep, tach is tach....

maybe since you bought it used, it was in a wreck, and was replaced with a LS tranny...

what happened that they replaced it? something they did or what? how many miles on your car now?

Gear Ratios never changed between years.

He's speaking the truth, I've been wondering the same thing.

I'm just going to assume his 00 tranny was still stock, and my 01 tranny is stock. We both drive an LS, we both have run on 195/55/15 & 205/50/15. The same thing happened on both sizes.

My 2nd,3rd,4th is 60,90,120. His was not.

The only thing that I can think of is if his gauges are wacked out, or if his tranny was fux0red before he got it?

Anyone?
