Driver's side door sag. New hinges needed?

My driver's side door on my 2001 Acura Integra GS-R sags a little bit once I open the door and because of the sagging, I have to slam it a little more to get it to close. What have you guys done to repair this problem? New hinges? Bushings? Thanks in advance. :)

I guess that I must be the only one with a sagging door on an Integra. :chuckles:

if the hinges are tight and dont have slack, it could be a slight chassis issue.

integra's are getting old so problems like this arent that rare. has the car been in an accident?

I just saw on Honda-tech that this was covered. They were replacing the hing pin I believe. Although I really like Honda-Acura.net the tech sections have almost died.

Yes, it's usually a hinge pin/bushing combo issue.

Any idea on part numbers? :)

67410-SH3-K02ZZ Top hinge
67450-SH3-K02ZZ Bottom Hinge
They're about $35 from a dealer

Do you think that a new pin would be required? Thanks. :)

They usually come as an assembly. It is the bushing that fails most often, so I would start with just the bushing if you can find it. Depending on how long it has been this way, then a new pin might be needed; but you won't know for sure until the old one is removed.
