Default Am I in big trouble? Help!

I was doing valve adjustment last weekend. I almost finished the work and was replacing the valve cover when suddenly I snapped one bolt on the corner in half. I don't know if that bolt can be replaced or not and I don't know what kind of damage it would bring. I figured it could affect the engine seal so I would see some oil leaking out of that corner. Has anyone experience it? Anyway to fix it?

You used a wrench on it, eh? Those bolts are supposed to be finger tight.

Take it into a local garage. They should be able to take it out for about $10.

You could get a set of those Craftsman "EZ-Out" damaged screw remover bits. Otherwise take it to a shop and they should be able to get the broken off part of the bolt out of there for ya.
