Alright guys I'm thinking of taking off my WW RS lip in exchange for a comptech lip.

My only concern is that there will be left over residue from the double sided tape I used, so what should I use to take off the lip, and the left over double sided tape without messing up the paint on my bumper? TIA

 

The residue should only be left over on the lower piece of the bumper. Since you will have to repaint the comptech lip, you should repaint the lower oem piece too and have a body shop mold the compech lip onto your oem lower piece all in one shot.:grifter:

 

You're right only the lower piece of the bumper should have residue but I also put double sided tape on the side of the lip too, and I also put two screws in the wheel well...hehe...so what should I do about the residue on the side of my bumper?...tia

 

:dunno: paint the whole bumper then, this way everything will look fresh and new.....can't do anything about the screw in the wheel well though
