Since ive bought my car about 3 months ago, ive noticed this smell when i get out of it, Its gonna be kind of hard for me to describe. But its just a really rich smell, not like coolant though. i was wondering if its because my car doesnt have a cat on it... The guy i got it from just like put straight flowmaster pipes on it with no cat. Would that be making a nasty smell? Alright thanks...

 

That could be the problem becuase I have known people to get a bad smell when the cat is going bad but maybe with some more experience can help more with this.

Is it coming from engine bay? you sure its not cooking power steering fluid? Mine makes that smell yet is always at the normal level.. dont know why..

 

Hmm i dont think its comn from the engine bay. Think its prolly gotta be the exaust.
