how long will my stock shocks last if i put some Ground Controls on em.... i dont have enough for struts at the moment but im thinking of getting the GCs cuz i got a good deal from a friend.... bad idea? maybe a month or 2 till i have spare money for struts.. thnx

and depends on how low you drop the car..the lower you go the quicker the stock shocks will blow

im not buying from this page, just saw the 2 different types and was wondering what the difference was... how much better are the regular GCs?

 

Special editon are softer than regular ones, i got regular ones and they are perfect, the thing with them is that if you get really soft ones than on stock shock they will bounce alot, so i would go for the normal ones I got kyb shock with my ground controls and if i raise tha car fro the winter i have to set the shock to stiff because if i leave them soft than they bounce like a yoyo lol but when i lower it like 2' and put the shock in the middle, the ride quality is just awsome I would save up and get shock and put everything together, less work and if you have to pay for it than less money, i had my GC's for like 6 moneht before i put them on becuase i was looking for a good deal on shocks.
