Wheel offsets

I am looking into getting a set of 16" wheels for my car. The wheels I am looking at come in either a 45 or 40 mm offset. Since I don't "fully" understand offsets I figured I would get outside opinions. What would be the better of the 2 offset for an Integra, and why?

Thanks.

If you go back a week or two on the message board you will find a thread that talks about this exact issue.
Short summary:
anything between 38 and 42 (considering you don't have a extreme drop) would work without any problem if you go lower, then the wheel might rub on the exterior side of the wheel compartment , but if you go higher the wheel might rub on the interior of the wheel compartment.

Geez I feel like an idiot, I even searched and didn't find that. Thanks though!

So I guess I will go with +40, but I was wondering if any "big" brake kits would fit with 16" wheels or would I still need to go bigger. AEM told me that the O.E. Caliper Big Brake kit would more than likely fit, but what about anything else?
