Can't a GSR use a Type R?

Have a ?? Can't a Integra GSR use a Type R ignition coil? Was just wondering since both are B series.

Let me know,
Thanks

Don't see why not. Log on to your favorite auto parts store and look up BOTH part numbers and if they're the same then for sure.

I used a 92 Integra LS coil in a 95 GSR distributor and that seem to work fine. I only did it cause
they were both OBD1. So it might work, might not.

Yes, same coil. It may just be specific to what OBD system the car used. For example, a 2001 GS-R and a 2001 ITR share the same coil. Same part number and all... 30510-P73-A02
