What makes my 99 GS different from a 99 GSR? other than the Vtec control?

Also, is it possible to add the Vtec controller to a non-Vtec motor? forgive the ignorance, I am new to Acura engine mods. THanks

I would have to say NO its not possible. Not unless you remove the non vtec head from the motor and replace it with a vtec head. At which point you would be making it an lsvtec motor. You cant just add a vtec controller to your motor and make it a vtec.
