I need a little help with this one. I have a 90 teggy and it wont stay running for more the 20-30 mins at a shot and then wont restarts for a little while. I replaced the master relay with my buddys because he had the same issuse with his car, but it didnt help. I am kind of stuck on this one dont really want to take it to a shop but if i have to i will. Thanks.

So how long is "a little while" before it restarts?

It might have something to with the ignitor getting too warm.

I would say 20 mins

is that running while driving? or sitting still? if theres a cosiderable difference in the time it takes it may be easier to diagnose, also if temperature is causing the problem, that will narrow the field a bit.

we need more info about your car. does it die whiel idling? or does it die when yu accelerate?

ok well i found out it was the igniter in my brand new distributor i just got like 3 weeks before it started so the car is working again. thank you all for the help.
